The Department of History accepts applications for the MA in History, MA in History through the Public History Program and the PhD in History.  Students entering the PhD program without an MA may also earn the MA in History.  Admission is offered for Fall only and we do not allow deferred admission. Priority consideration is given to applications received and completed by December 14.  Admission decisions take place from February through March. We encourage prospective students to start an e-mail dialogue with one or two faculty members in the area of research interest.
