DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
The History Department also offers a minor in History. In order to receive a minor, students must take 28 units (7 courses), including
At least one World History course and at least one other lower-division course.
At least three courses in one of the following areas of concentration, including a seminar (HIST 191 E-Z):
Ancient and Medieval
Europe
United States
Latin America
Asia and Africa
History of Science and Technology
Please note that the seminar HIST 191 (E-Z) is required and must be taken in the student's area of concentration.
At least two courses from the two of the above fields, one in each.
